The TESDAโCordillera State Institute of Technical Education (CSITE) Kalinga Campus officially kicked off its month-long celebration of National Womenโs Month on March 9, 2026, with a meaningful activity highlighting womenโs leadership, empowerment, and community safety, reaffirming the campusโ commitment to promoting gender equality and recognizing the vital contributions of women in building stronger and safer communities.
During the campus Flag Raising Ceremony, CSITE personnel and staff gathered in solidarity, wearing purple to symbolize justice, dignity, and womenโs empowerment.
Women personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection Tabuk City, headed by Fire Senior Inspector Gilbert B. Ngayaan, joined the ceremony and led the raising of the Philippine flag. Representatives Dina T. Dumatog, Jaedea Grace S. Lacuesta, and Julio O. Agpad Jr. also conducted an earthquake and fire drill led by women personnel, demonstrating proper emergency response procedures.
The drill highlighted the important role of women in disaster preparedness and emergency response while reinforcing safety awareness among CSITE personnel and trainees.
