The TESDAโCordillera State Institute of Technical Education (CSITE) Kalinga Campus officially kicked off its Earth Month 2026 celebration on April 6, 2026, as trainees, trainers, and personnel joined in a shared call to protect the environment.
Anchored on the theme โOur Power, Our Planet,โ the activity brought together learners from Driving NC II, Bread and Pastry Production NC II, Automotive Servicing NC I, Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II, and Tile Setting NC II, reinforcing the role of technical education in promoting sustainability and responsible environmental practices.
A key highlight of the program was the โPledge Treeโ activity, where participants expressed their personal commitments to environmental protection. Each pledge symbolized a simple yet meaningful step toward creating a greener and more sustainable future.
Campus Administrator Mr. Sherwin C. Bali emphasized the importance of collective action, while Ms. Ninjune T. Belit highlighted the need for proper waste management and environmental responsibility across the community.
The kick-off activity sets the tone for a month-long celebration, reaffirming TESDA-CSITEโs commitment to Green TVET, which promotes environmentally sustainable skills and practices in technical education and sustainable development.
