TESDA-Cordillera State Institute of Technical Education (CSITE) joined the simultaneous nationwide celebration of TESDA’s 32nd Anniversary on August 25, 2026, through activities that brought skills training, employment opportunities, competency assessment, and community services closer to Cordillerans.
Anchored on the theme “Husay, Tibay, at Tagumpay,” CSITE campuses across the Cordillera participated in job fairs, competency assessments, scholarship and training assistance, and community-based initiatives in support of TESDA’s commitment to a responsive and people-centered TVET system.
Across the region, CSITE helped connect jobseekers and graduates to employment opportunities through the World Café of Opportunities (WCO), with the Mountain Province Campus recording 13 hired on the spot and two near-hired among hundreds of participants. The CSITE Main, Abra, and Ifugao campuses likewise provided career and training information, scholarship assistance, and employment services.
CSITE campuses also delivered direct services to communities. The Kalinga Campus facilitated free competency assessments for 37 candidates and a bloodletting drive that gathered 34 donors, while the Ifugao Campus served 58 clients during a multi-agency service fair. In Mountain Province, the campus reached 25 solo parents through an orientation on TESDA livelihood programs and support services.
These activities reflect the anniversary’s broader message that TESDA’s impact goes beyond training and graduation numbers. Through its campuses, CSITE continues to translate technical-vocational education into employment opportunities, skills certification, community support, and improved pathways to livelihood for Cordillerans.
