CSITE Ifugao Sends Off 216 Job-Ready TVET Graduates

LAGAWE, IFUGAO – A total of 216 technical-vocational graduates have completed their training at the Cordillera State Institute of Technical Education (CSITE) Ifugao Campus and are now preparing to enter the workforce.

The graduates, trained in welding, driving, electrical installation, masonry, and tile setting, were recognized during a completion ceremony on June 25, 2026, at the CSITE Ifugao Multipurpose Hall.

CSITE Ifugao Campus Administrator Engr. Eduardo O. Tamayao confirmed that all candidates met the required training standards, while Executive Director Daisy C. Bungallon formally conferred their technical qualifications.

CSITE Executive Director Daisy C. Bungallon emphasized that the graduates’ competencies position them to secure stable incomes, support their families, and contribute to community development, while TESDA Ifugao Provincial Director Felixberto B. Matute Jr. urged them to value their skills as a lasting source of livelihood.

Guest speaker Engr. Joemel Ray B. Lorida, RME, highlighted the importance of technical training in career growth, while graduate representative Mariel M. Tid-ng expressed gratitude on behalf of the class.

Local officials also recognized the program’s impact, including the increasing participation of women in masonry training.

The initiative reflects TESDA’s continuing effort to bring accessible, community-based technical education to Ifugao, equipping residents with practical skills for employment.
