Students from TESDA-CSITE Main Campus actively participated in Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Don Mariano Marcos Elementary School on June 1 and 2, 2026, as part of their community immersion activities under the National Service Training Program 2 and in line with TESDA Memorandum ROMO No. 262, s. 2026.
The activity involved 27 students, composed of 12 students from the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology 1A and 15 students from the Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology 1A, under the guidance of their trainer, Mr. Lynmuel Austria. The students rendered voluntary service through various clean-up, repair, and maintenance activities in preparation for the opening of the school year.
In reference to this initiative, it aligns with TESDA Memorandum ROMO No. 262, s. 2026 issued by the Regional Operations Management Office, which encourages the participation of TESDA regional offices and training institutions in the 2026 Brigada Eskwela program of the Department of Education, with the theme “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman.”
Further, the Brigada Eskwela activity provided an opportunity for students to engage with the community and apply the values of civic responsibility and public service beyond the classroom.
TESDA-CSITE Main Campus continues to uphold its commitment to community engagement and nation-building by encouraging students to take part in meaningful outreach and service-oriented activities.
